This 1/48th-scale Prison Wagon kit is inspired by the Child Catcher, a character from one of our best-loved films. They were used in the 18th & 19th centuries, often called black marias or 'tumbleweed' wagons. They were horse-drawn, heavily built, iron-reinforced vehicles designed to securely transport prisoners. They served as mobile jails, transporting detainees between local lockups, courtrooms and penitentiaries.
We recommend that only the more experienced miniature maker attempt this, as it has many tiny parts.

It is unpainted and comes with fully movable wheels and chassis.
It also includes a ladder that can be raised and lowered to cover the door entrance.
